how it works

Access to private DNA testing has never been easier

1. Place your order for a test

Simply select the test you want from our range of specialist blood tests and health checks. We’ll tell you everything you need to know about your test, from what type of sample you need to collect, to how many markers we are testing for as well as how long it is likely to take once the laboratory has received your sample.

Can’t find the test you want or have any questions? Just pick up the phone and our knowledgeable team will be happy to help you.

2. Have the test delivered to you

Many of our tests can simply be taken at home with a finger-prick sample. We will send you everything you need including clear instructions on how to collect a sample successfully.

Some of our tests require you to have a venous blood sample taken. This may be because the test can only be analysed with a larger blood sample or because you’ve ordered too many tests to be conducted on a “tiny” finger-prick sample. Or maybe you’d simply prefer to have someone else take your blood for you. You can choose to go to one of our partner clinics or whether you’d prefer a nurse to come to you – just make your selection at the check out. We send you everything the phlebotomist will need to take your sample.

4. Return sample for testing

All of our test kits come with a pre-paid first class envelope to post your sample to our laboratory. It is important that the sample arrives the following day so it is always best to take your sample in the morning to meet the midday post. If you’re worried that you can’t rely on the post in your region, then we suggest you send it guaranteed next day delivery so that you can be assured that your sample will be arrive in good time.
