Receive your test kit

We send your test kit with clear, easy to follow instructions.
Once your sample is ready, simply contact us to arrange collection and we’ll ensure it reaches the laboratory safely.
(If your test requires a blood sample, this will be collected in line with the option selected at checkout.)

Your results

Once processed, the laboratory generates your report.
We’ll notify you as soon as your results are ready and deliver your full report to you securely.

As you explore our site, you'll find that each product page explains what the test examines, whose sample is needed, how it's collected and when the laboratory turnaround starts.
How you provide your sample depends on the test. Some use a buccal cheek swab that you can collect at home, while others need a blood sample taken by a qualified Healthcare Professional.
If the test you choose requires a blood sample, you can arrange a local phlebotomist yourself or use our mobile phlebotomy service for an additional fee. Available across mainland UK, the service lets you arrange a qualified phlebotomist to visit your home or workplace at a time to suit you.

Most tests can be ordered directly through our website without a referral or pre-purchase approval. If a specialist test needs clinical information or involvement from your treating team, we explain this clearly on its product page and can help you understand what is required.

Laboratory turnaround begins once the laboratory receives all required samples and confirms they are suitable for testing. It is measured in working days and does not include collection or transport time. Because timings differ, check the relevant product page for the current turnaround.

Your report will address the specific purpose and scope of the test you selected. Depending on the test, it may provide a prenatal screening estimate, report selected genetic findings or assess a biological relationship.
Each product page explains what its report can and cannot tell you. We always recommend that results are discussed with your Healthcare Professional.
